A new sign has been ordered to be installed on the southeast corner of the library parking lot near employee parking. The new sign should be installed in the next 2 weeks.

Color copies
Please be mindful of the budget when you are sending copies to the staff machine. If you do not need to make color copies, then change to black/white. Color copies cost $.09 each and black and white cost $.01 each. Directions have been provided and can also be found in the Xerox folder on the “z” drive. Pat

Meeting Room Calendar
In the near future you will have the ability to view the calendar for the multi-purpose meeting room and for the Historical Conference Room. You will be able to see when programs are booked and what Rental Customers will be utilizing the rooms. Brenda has some final tweaking to do to make this work for all staff members. In the meantime, ask your supervisor and she can show you the calendar and print it out as well. Pat

I-Team software
PCLC staff will be working with City staff to resolve the remaining problems with the ITeam software. PCLC has stated that this product works perfectly in Auburndale, Bartow and Haines City Libraries. ITeam will configure their product in the same way they have it configured in the other libraries and maybe at that point the remainder of the problems will be cleared up. Stay tuned!

We have had several inquiries and complaints lately about the unsecured wi-fi access we offer. We are adding the following disclaimer to all of our wi-fi signs to help ensure that patrons understand that since our network is not secured the information on their computers is open for access.
